Hopefully you will have taken some time to read and ask questions about this breed prior to deciding to adopt, if you haven't yet, then please take a look at the forums and the articles we have on the site to gain some information.
Please note that all prospective homes will be subject to a home visit prior to adoption being agreed, as you will no doubt appreciate, we have to do everything in our power to ensure our dogs go to the right, forever home.

JAWT 567 - Tyson
Introducing Tyson! He is a loveable young boy of 19 months old based in Liverpool. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own, just down to changes in his owners commitments. He cannot live with other animals and is not used to children either.
Friendly bouncy boy who loves to play and and be around people, he certainly enjoy a good old fuss from our rep.

JAWT 546 - Sumo
Introducing Sumo! This boy is only 8 years young and liiving in the Notts area.
He is not very good with most dogs and not good with cats at all so could not live with any. He has however grown up with a child of 8 years old.
He is a fuss monster, adopting the typical akita "lean" for fuss. Our assessor found him to be gentle when taking treats and knows all the basic commands. A happy boy who enjoys company and a play with a plastic toy.

JAWT 391 - Raffa
Meet Raffa, he is 3 years old based in the Midlands area.
He can not live with other dogs or cats but is used to dog savvy children. Raffa had been previously adopted but has been let down through no fault of his own, he now desperately needs to secure his own forever home.
He loves a good fuss and is a playful boy too.
Please get in touch if you think you could offer Raffa a loving secure home.
JAWT 521 - Keera
Keera is a lovely girl of around 5 years old currently boarded in kennels in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
She has not lived with other dogs or children although has found a male akita friend in the kennels who makes her smile and wag her tail. She had been with her owner all of her life sadly no longer wanted due to the arrival of a baby.
Keera was always fine with strangers coming into her house and she travels well also.
She can be a little apprehensive when first meeting people but is a very friendly girl soon after.

JAWT 524 - Tess
This beautiful girl is around 4/5 years old and currently on foster in Portsmouth.
She is a sweet natured soul, loves human company and idolises our foster mummies little ones and walks so nicely on the lead with them.. under close supervision of course!
Tess is a lovely gentle girl and has an excellent level of training, she is also good with most dogs preferring bigger ones so could potentially live with a laid back male.
Though Tess loves it in her home now, she desperately deserves a home to call her own, could it be yours?
JAWT 509 - CJ
CJ is a handsome young chap of 3 years old currently based in Salford.
He is being rehomed due to a change in his owners work commitments, leaving him alone for long periods and she does not feel he is receiving the attention he deserves.
He`s an excitable boy, loves to play and has basic command knowledge. He will pull to begin with on walks but soon settles in to heel again.
He is a friendly boy, but he does not like other dogs or cats. He has never lived with children and due to his excitable nature we would only consider a home with dog savvy older children.
JAWT 560 Pepe
how absolutely adorable is this young boy?
Pepe is aprox 9 months old.. hasnt grown into his ears yet! he is such a sweetheart and needs a new home. Currently under the care of another rescue in Cambridgeshire we are hoping we can find this boy the perfect home to call his own
Good with other dogs, neutered and fully upto date on his jabs he is not cat tested and because he is such a bouncy young boy with full of energy older children only please!
