  • Kane - JAWT 794 ( 4 Articles )

    JAWT 794 - Kane

Introducing Kane, a beautiful boy of 6 years old and based in Nantwich, Cheshire. Kane found himself in the pound, scheduled to be PTS through no fault of his own. He is now in safe boarding under the care of JAWT.

He has a decent level of obedience and a very friendly boy, we would not place with young children as he has unknown history. He needs to be the only furry in the household.

Kane has limited hearing so we are looking for an owner willing to work with this. He can hear certain things so please do not think this cannot be worked with, Just makes him that little bit extra special.

  • Shadow - JAWT 812 ( 1 Article )

Shadow was scheduled to be PTS in a pound in the midlands. He is around 10 years old and simply no longer wanted as his "owners" had bought a puppy. JAWT moved him to safe kennels in Lancs during May 2013. **Shadow moved to a foster home in Bristol June 2014**

He is a happy boy, loves his walks and is spotless in his kennel. He has basic training and is good when bathed and blow dried, the staff do look after him well.

Shadow is well mannered around other dogs, as he has seen lots of boarders come and go in his time at the kennels, he loves to have a girl "next door" so could potentially live with one pending responsible introductions. The kennel owners and staff love Shadow, but would love to see him secure a loving home of his own.

If you would like to meet Shadow, please get in touch. We are sure you will not be able to resist his soulful face and waggy tail!

  • Dave - JAWT 827 ( 1 Article )

Introducing Dave! He is around 3-4 years old he is a very friendly and cheeky young man. He was found at a roadside unable to stand let alone walk due to an infection in all his feet and toenails so long they curled round his paws. JAWT took him into foster care and straight to the vet. After some tests it was discovered he has an auto immune disease that requires daily medication, which JAWT supply,  to keep it under control.

Dave is doing very well on his meds and thriving in his foster home. He now has no issue walking on smooth surfaces and grass. He could potentially live with a laid back female but would need repeated introductions. No young children and not cat tested.

Dave will require a home with owners who work part time or are able to pop home during their lunch break.

Could you provide Dave with a forever home full of love and help him forget his neglect. For full details on his condition and requirements please get in touch.

  • Sensai - JAWT 971 ( 1 Article )

    JAWT 971 - Sensai

Introducing Sensai! He is a beautiful boy of only 16 months old who finds himself in rescue through no fault of his own. He is currently in foster in the Midlands.

He is a playful boy with basic training but has not lived indoors so may need some assistance with potty training. He has met the female Akita in the foster home and seems to quite enjoy her company so we think a female companion of similar size may be best suited for him.

He will continue his assessment period and spend time with the family, including the children and we will update on his progress. Sensai is a happy boy and loves to meet new people. He has his own little quirks and breed traits so some experience of the breed is essential.
