Hmmm Jackie. I may have a solution

I spent some time in my garden today sowing some salad leaves and my courgettes. Anyway, lo and behold I turn around and catch Keisha stomping all over said perfectly mulched and raked border with her fat paws.... (we have new edging stones now-clearly marking no go zones and she KNOWS this lol!)

So.....I put her on a naughty step!

(She's not a dog to really 'shout at' as it just makes her worse, ignoring her or praising her with cuddles has always been the best way generally.)

Yes! a naughty step. For 3 minutes, well, torture for her, she shuffled, wiggled, pirouetted on her bum, ears down wanting to go, but kept getting 'stay' till her time was up.

Anyway she didn't do it again for the remainder of the time I was out there! Hmmm succuess I hope!

Lol, yes it was, but a sort of kind torture

It was either that or throwing her in the 'green' wheelie bin, the little devil.

JACKIE!

I bought some black wire picket fencing from £stretcher/Homestores really cheap, I put it round my veg plot, and even though it's only a foot high it deters the dogs from stepping on it!

Thanks Lucie, love the suggestions.

At the moment the dogs are more interested in nextdoor's Staffie who's trying to chew its way through the fence(he's succeeded at their own fence but is now starting on fence panels we've had to screw on to theirs)

We now have a very downtrodden flower bed and groove in the lawn where the dogs keep running up and down it

The neighbour has sold the house, but cos he's such a bleep bleep bleep he keeps delaying things just to get at his ex girlfriend who shares the mortgage, doesn't look like he's leaving until mid-end Sept
