LECTURE IN LONDON TOMORROW 2010/07/02 15:56 Karma: -80
Hi there
have a look at the following link:
http://www.ukanimals.org
I'm attending the lecture tomorrow entitled "League Against Cruel Sports". No, it's not about the recent England debacle. The study is by an American professor looking at animals used for fighting and what the "owners" derive for these cruel "sports". I wonder if they will look at the historical use of Akitas in Japan. However much we don't like it Akitas have been extensively used historically in Japan for their prowess at fighting.
I think it could be a heavy three hours. Thankfully the organisers allow dogs into the venue so will be taking Max along for moral support. Will let you know how it goes.
Regards
Robert
